Key Project partners and stakeholders. At the national level DESPRO’s key national counterpart is the Ministry of Regional Development and Construction (MoRDC). The project works in close cooperation with other national stakeholders involved in promoting decentralized approaches in public administration, like the Secretariat of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, the Ministry of Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine, the National Academy of Public Administration, Ukrainian Associations, committees of the parliament, Academy of Municipal Management, etc.
Project partners were selected in the two project target regions, i.e. the Autonomous Republic of Crimea (ARC) and Vinntsya Oblast. In each of the regions three rayons were selected to participate in the competition and implementation of community based projects for decentralized services provision. In Crimea: Lenino, Bakhchisaray, Nyzhnyohirskyy rayons and Tulchin; Kalynivka and Illintsi in Vinnytska Oblast. MoUs have been signed with regional and rayon administrations on cooperation and co-financing for the implementation of community projects.
