On March 6, the DESPRO Swiss-Ukrainian Decentralization Support Project together with the EGAP Swiss-Ukrainian E-Governance for Accountability and Participation Program conducted training on geo information systems of assets accounting. The most active and productive teams of communities participating in the Local Self-Governance School DESPRO received these systems.

The training aimed to teach ATC representatives to use effectively the benefits of assets accounting systems in practice, in particular, they learned about the functionality of systems in details, learned to enter data independently and also learned the skills of further data analysis. In addition, the ATC representatives set up processes for obtaining technical support from the system developer, SoftPro.

The DESPRO Swiss-Ukrainian Decentralization Support Project and the EGAP Swiss-Ukrainian E-Governance for Accountability and Participation Program are partners in promoting local development through the use of most recent information technologies. In cooperation with the SoftPro developer, they continue to support six amalgamated communities in the use of geo information systems for ATC assets accounting.
