President Viktor Yanukovych points out the importance of local government reform that aims to enhance the development of regions of Ukraine, he sad during today’s International Municipal Hearings "The Development of Effective Governance at Local and Regional Level" in Kyiv . "This is the requirement of time. This is what is needed today to give a new boost to the economy, regional development," he said.

LVIV – KYIV. 15^th October. UNN: according to Mr. Mykhaylo Tsymbalyuk, Head of Lviv Oblast State Administration words,  14^th through 15^th October representatives of 22 countries, including USA, Germany, Russia, China, Canada, Italy, Switzerland, Kazakhstan, Georgia and Island participated in XI International Economic Forum “Economic Integration – National Priorities” that took place in Truskavets. Total number of participants was 652 persons. Information was provided by UNN correspondent.

“It is especially important this year that International Black Sea Economic Forum becomes the platform for Ukraine to enter Black Sea region. The issues we’ve discussed are really essential not only for Crimea but for Ukraine and the whole Black Sea basin. It is a common ecosystem, the areas we are developing – tourism, agribusiness,” – said Deputy Prime Minister. 

On 7^th October first Oblast call for projects “Fair of Ideas” took place in Dnipropetrovsk. It was aimed at attracting social investments to the region and developing cooperation between territorial communities and international charitable foundations for territorial development. 

New forms of population self-organization are successfully implemented in Sumy Oblast. As “SumyInfo” («СумыИнфо») writes, this work is especially active in countryside.
