Bakhchysaraysky rayon projects description

1. Bryanske village
April through October 2008 the organization implements the project “Bryanske village community is a responsible owner of a water supply system”. During the project 2081 m of water-pipe will be reconstructed in Bryanske village. Village inhabitants will make their own contribution (13000 UAH) and contribution in kind (earth works, meters installation) and, thus will be engaged into project implementation. 282 people will take part in a general meeting and be informed on the project activities.
As a result of a project implementation, Bryanske village 128 houses will be provided with non-stop water supply and due to the installation of 1 general and 128 individual water meters, control over water consumption will be guaranteed. One fire hydro-unit will be installed.
Water-supply network will be transferred to village council balance. After water-supply system becomes a communal privacy it will be maintained by private entrepreneur (this person will maintain the old and the new village systems).
Project total budget is 147740 UAH. Besides DESPRO grant, which comprises 82201 UAH, organization-the executor will draw 19930 UAH from Plodove village and Bakhchysaraysky rayon budgets and 21130 UAH will comprise from dues of territorial community members. Organization will also make contribution in kind, which comprises 24480 UAH.

2. Sevastyanivka and Samokhvalovo villages
April through October 2008 the organization implements the project “Improving the water-supply system in, Bakhchysaraysky rayon”. As a result of the project 244 inhabitants of Sevastyanivka and Samokhvalovo villages, Bakhchysaraysky rayon will obtain no-stop water supply. Due to the construction of 2nd lifting station and mine well, alternative independent water-supply will be ensured.
After the works completed water-supply system will be transferred to the balance of Poshtovska village council and maintained by private entrepreneur, the community member.
Project total budget is 234090 UAH. Besides DesPro grant, which comprises 94999 UAH, organization-the executor will draw 40000 UAH from Poshtove village and Bakhchysaraysky rayon budgets and 67000 UAH will comprise from dues of territorial community members. Organization will also made contribution in kind, which comprises for 32000 UAH.



3. Viline village
May through October 2008 Population Self-Organization Body “Residential Committee “Sonyachny” implements the project “Reconstruction of Viline water-supply. Automation of pump station’s control system”. As a result of a project and due to non-stop water-supply, living conditions of Viline village inhabitants will improve and population will be involved into civic activities (water-supply problems). Within the project 4310 meters water-pipe on Lenin, Vynogradna, Krasnoarmiyska, Prykhodko, Pavlenko Streets and Stepny Lane will be reconstructed. 372 people (168 families) inhabit the above areas, which comprises for 6% of total Viline population. Besides, pump station will become automated, electrical equipment of panel pump station will be changed as well as 60 m of station’s pipe. Newly installed meters will ensure control over water consumption. The above measures will result in better cost-effectiveness and increase of water consumers.
After the construction is completed water-supply system will be transferred to the balance of Viline village council. Private entrepreneur, the community representative and after tender is conducted will maintain it.
Project total budget is 160000 UAH. Besides DESPRO grant, which comprises 95000 UAH, organization-the executor will draw 24000 UAH from village budget and 28800 UAH will comprise from dues of territorial community members. Organization will also made contribution in kind, which comprises for 32000 UAH.

4. Uglove village
Civic organization "Quarterly Committee "Agricultural" implements project “Major renovations of the v.Uglovoe water supply system with installation of Rozhnovskyi tower and repairs of the well# 5” during the June-October 2009 (hereinafter – the Project).
The project aims at improvement of water supply system, which belongs to the communal property of Uglove village local community and organization of stable drinking water supply to 400 residents (176 households) residing at streets Agrarna, Prymorska and Pervomayska. Within the frames of the project water tower will be replaced with the new one; modern pumping equipment will be installed in the well with the automatic control of equipment; supply system will be upgraded; sanitary protection zone will be established around the well.
The private entrepreneur will carry out maintenance and servicing of the water supply system following the abovementioned construction works on the ground of lease. The contractor will be selected on the competive basis.
Total project cost: UAN 160.0 thousand. In addition to the DESPRO grant funds in the amount of UAN 120.0 thousand implementing organization will raise UAN 24.0 thousand from the village Uglove budget, UAN 16.0 thousand of financial contributions of the local community members. In addition, it is expected to attract UAN 40.0 thousand of non-financial contributions from community members and other organizations.

5. Beregove village
Civic organization "Novyi bereh (New shore)" implements project "Major renovations of the water supply networks in the village Berehove of the Bakhchysarai rayon of the Autonomous Republic Crimea” between November 2008 and June 2009. In the result of the project, part of the water supply system of the village Berehove (newly constructed area) will be put in order by replacing the main water pipes and street branches with the total length of 2200 m. The project will cover territory, which is the home to 144 residents. General water accounting will be provided for the water received by the neighborhood. In addition, all households connected to the water supply system will install individual meters. The private entrepreneur will service the water supply system after it is transferred into municipal property.
Project estimates will be prepared as required by the current legislation for carrying out the planned construction works. The licensed contractor will perform construction work. Constructed (renovated) water supply facilities will be placed into operation in correspondence with the current law.
Total project cost is UAN 172.0 thousand. In addition to the DESPRO grant funds of UAN 89.3 thousand the contractor will raise UAN 43.0 thousand from the village Pishchane budget and Bakhchysarai rayon budget, UAN 39.7 thousand of financial contributions of the local community members. In addition, the organization members will be involved into implementation of auxiliary works.
