The School of local self-government, founded by the Swiss-Ukrainian project “Decentralization support in Ukraine” (DESPRO) started working in the format of a three-day on-site training course for 50 local self-government representatives from different oblasts of Ukraine. 

This year, the school focuses on the issues of unification of local communities and enhancement of capacity of LSB associations, and of their role in promotion of decentralization reform. The best professionals and experts on local self-government are recruited to the School as trainers.

The cherry on top of the cake was the participation of last year’s School participants, this time in the role of trainers: 6 representatives of School-2014 held the trainings they developed themselves. There are two more remote courses and an on-site training to look forward to.
